SS8 Networks’ CEO Dennis Haar to Speak at CANTO
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- SS8 Networks, Inc., a leading provider of IP messaging systems, lawful intercept and signaling solutions for the telecommunications industry, announced today that the company’s president and CEO, Dennis Haar, has been invited to present at the CANTO (Caribbean Association of National Telecommunication Organizations) 21st Annual Telecommunications Conference and Trade Exhibition. The presentation, titled "Taking Advantage of the Telecom Transition to IP Communications Infrastructures" is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 9:20 a.m. at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, St. Kitts & Nevis.
A recognized industry expert, Haar will address the evolving trends for carriers to offer more advanced services to their end users to complement the improved functionality of today’s and tomorrow’s next-generation IP and VoIP networks. In addition, he will provide an overview of trends in IP multimedia messaging and discuss strategies for leveraging legacy networks.
The Caribbean has been identified as a region with immense growth potential in the communication sector and CANTO’s annual conference and trade exhibition has long been recognized as a premier telecommunication event in the Caribbean.
"This forum provides an excellent opportunity to convey how the proliferation of VoIP, combined with the sophistication and increased demands of end users, are changing the applications landscape dramatically," said Haar. "We look forward to continuing the ongoing dialogue and to providing carriers with strategies for offering new value-added applications by deploying next-generation networks while protecting their investment in existing infrastructures."
Haar’s career spans 25 years in high technology including leadership roles in global networking, voice and computing companies such as GoDigital, Aspect Communications, Rolm Corp. and Hewlett-Packard. SS8 Networks has demonstrated significant growth of its revenue, customer base and leadership position worldwide. The company’s IP multimedia messaging, lawful intercept and signaling solutions will be presented at the CANTO trade exhibition, June 19-22, in booth #19.
CANTO was founded in 1985 as a trade organization to serve the needs of telephone operating companies in the Caribbean. The annual forum facilitates better understanding of the issues in a non-confrontational atmosphere and establishes a platform for intelligent dialogue among the stakeholders in execution of their individual responsibilities.
