Fresh at Sprocka's 12/03/2006

Fresh, the new restaurant at Sprocka's, has moderate (for Anguilla) prices on a varied menu with lots of daily specials. The menu includes interesting "Of The Day" items like crab cakes and fried cheese. Beef and shrimp lollipops looked great as they went by my table. Also some sort of a spring roll salad recieved great reviews from the table behind us. My wife and I shared an order of Asian chicken wings and an apple marinated rib special. Both were very tasty. A casual atmosphere for dinner is only enhanced on the nights (Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday) when Sprocka plays music. He usually starts about 9pm. We went on a Friday and he was joined by a couple of his friends.
I couldn't give the restaurant 4 stars only because they are not trying to be that sort of place. This is a menu based on taste AND value. I think the most expensive dinner available was $17.
