Anguilla Restaurant & Dining Reviews Reviews
Scilly Cay 02/07/2004
Reviewers Rating:
Lunch on Scilly Cay is really a unique experience and is not to be missed on a visit to Anguilla. The menu choices are limited, but that is not a problem! You come here for the grilled lobster, chicken and crayfish. And the rum punch! While the pasta salad side is dish is quickly forgotten, the grilled lobster is one of the best this lobster lover has ever had. And the chicken, really bought for the kids to enjoy, was also fantastic, as were the crayfish. The setting of course is great and unique, a little cay set out by itself a hundred or so yards from shore, with walls made of thousands of conch shells. You need to take their private launch (free) over to the cay. There are beach chairs, live music (on sundays at least - not sure about the schedule), shady spots, and a very nice staff. A real place to relax and have some fun. Not cheap (but what is on Anguilla?) - don't miss it.
