I was recently in Barbados and had stayed at a hotel located in Bathsheba in ST. Joseph parish on the East Coast. I had dinner at a small resturant down the road from where I was staying named the "Round House" well all I can say that the food was quite excellent. Food served was Caribbean cusine, mostly bajan. I started out by having a split pea type of soup followed by a salad. After that, My hostess had brought me some bread which was fresh and very good. I then had the main course. I had ordered the fisherman's platter which was one of the specials of the night. it had consisted of some dolphin, flying fish and shrimp, along with some pea's and rice. dinner for two wasn't too bad, it came to around $75.00 US ($150.00 bajan) plus a tip. The Round House is a very nice little out of the way resturant with very good food and the atmosphere is very romantic. While I was there, they had a live reggae band playing which were quite good. If you are looking for a nice quite place to take the special someone in your life, then I highly recommend the round house resturant, I think you'll enjoy it.
