Excellent
I recently visited Sitar, located in Holetown. We eat a lot of Inidan food at home and wanted to try some here. The choice was limited as there is only one other Indian rest. on the island. But we made the right choice. The owner was actually there and hands on with everything, the atmosphere was ok, but the Indian music was an "A" plus addition. Then came the food, starting with complimenatry nan bread, and fantastic appetizers...the best samosas I have ever had
(and I have had quite a few). The main course was delicious to say the least, it was spicy but not hot, and very tasty. The nan was very large, much larger than I expected, and cooked to perfection. The portions of food were also large, a little too large, but we were happy to take away a doggy bag.
A must try is the tandoori mixed grill !!!
Overall the meal is about the least expensive we had during our stay, and we got more for our money than any where else. So it is definitely worth a visit and worth my 4 star rating !!!
