We decided to go out for a lovely meal to treat ourselves as the resort food was, well, dire to say the least.
Tides is owned by a british couple adn you can tell that they have had soem experience in the catering field. The staff, who were predominantly locals, were well trained and very attentive. The food was impecible, with lots of choice (couldn't decide what to have, wanted it all!) and very very tasty to boot. The surroundings were beautiful and we took quite a few pictures of ourselves in this very well designed resturant, right by the ocean front!You could hear tthe waves splashing against the outside walls as you dined in the outside resturant area. The tables and chairs are wooden deck themed which gives you a relaxed yet formal setting, as table cloths were draped over the tables which had georgeous orchids in vases fro the centre peice. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this restaurant if you want something special at a very reasonable price for what you recieve. Yummy...just thinking about the mussles and tiger prawns, a seafood lovers delight.
