The setting is beautiful and romantic,right on the sea, boats and stars, gentle breezes...The food is absolutely delightful, and beautifully presented. My personal favorite is the gnocci. Delicious!I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat the seafood or meats, but I hear nothing but praise from those who enjoy them. The best on the island, they say. Not to mention the deserts. I like to try a different desert each time I stop in. So far I believe the deep fried ice cream may be my favorite... but then there's the chocolate mousse.. the creme broulet...some sort of flaming thing I can't remember the name of... it's hard to decide...easy to enjoy...The staff is efficient and friendly, always ready to make adjustments to accomodate individual tastes. And the host is a darling! Four stars for the Eclipse Restaurant.
