Ostrich Farm 05/12/2003
Reviewers Rating: Good
The Ostrich Farm is a working farm where they raise Ostrich for the commercial market. They have tours that last about 1 hour. You ride in a truck with a cover while a guide tells you how they raise the Ostrich. Our guide, Don, was a lot of fun. My wife got to ride a Ostrich. Good spot during the day for kids. They have a restaurant set up like a safari camp where you can have lunch or dinner. We had the Ostrich burgers for lunch. Ostrich is like beef only leaner. It was tasty and worth the expierence! Burgers were $7.50 US. Dinners about $20 US Very clean. Chuck PS Get good directions as its hard to find!
