This restaurant opposite Breezes is in an old farmhouse of the overseer of the former Plantation Vredenberg. Dinner can be served inside in air-conditioning or outside in a beautiful garden.
The chef is Dutch and had an outstanding career in the best restaurants in the Netherlands before coming to Curacao to run this lovely restaurant. He works together with another Dutch chef, who has 2 Michelin stars and comes a few times per year to help with the ever changing menu. The service is very good and headed by Annette, the lovely wife of the chef.
This is a very modern and creative kitchen, mostly French oriented, but with lively Caribbean accents. Absolutely a must for the more sophisticated guests, who will love the chique atmosphere or the lovely garden and the extensive winelist. This restaurant ranks easily between the best of Curacao and also has a very good quality/price proportion.
