For the real taste of 'Jerk', you must go to Scotchies - an authentic Jamaican Jerk haunt. It's located across the road from the Holiday Inn in Montego Bay. It is very casual and locals go there regularly.
The food is outstanding! No frills but absolutely delicious...once you go once, you'll find yourselves going back repeatedly while you're there.
