The Coal Pot Resturant 04/30/2003

I have just read someones write up re the Coal Pot Resturant, I was there a few months ago with friends and we found the food to be excellent, we opted for the lamb and fish dishes which were presented to a high standard.The resturant was very peaceful but I would say this was more of a couple style resturant as opposed to a big group going for a fun night out. The resturant is set away from everywhere and cab is the only transport. I did find the meal very expensive for what it was, and although , I had a lovely evening, I personally would not return to the coalpot, But please try it, you after all have to make up your own mind.
