Pirates Cove Restaurant 05/25/2006

While honeymooning in St. Lucia, my husband and I stayed in the Ladera resort. While touring Soufriere one day we stopped into Pirates Cove and Masters Quarters Restaurants for a late lunch. Being a picky eater, there were tons of American, and local Caribbean items to choose from. After deciding on the restaurant special "The Jolly Burger", my husband choose a beef roti. We enjoyed our lunch on the open water front patio and even stayed long enough to enjoy the sunset over the Pitons, and a few cocktails. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was calm and cool, and overall I think very reasonably priced. (HUGE burger loaded with everything, fries, and pasta salad for around US$9.50) Another cool thing was that our waitress told us how the building was hundreds of years old, and was a converted court house/Jail house. You could see the bars above some of the windows and she even said some people thought it to be haunted. Very Interesting!!! RECOMMENDED!!
