La Petite Terrasse 05/05/2007
Reviewers Rating: Great
Concorida is the quarter where the locals go for food. La Petite Terrasse is a small and non-pompous looking bistro where they serve a small menu of traditional French delights and a changing list of what is fresh locally (including fresh fish). Everything is freshly prepared as you sit down, very honest ingredients, all fresh (incl. the French fries made from real potatoes) and very nicely arranged on dishes. The chef learned in Burgundy. He is the son of the parents helping in the kitchen and serving the food including entertaining the clients. Since the clientel is local, the prices are very, very reasonable; you can pay in Euro or Dollar, but no credit cards. The atmosphere is simple, you sit on a covered terrace, but very clean and honest. In Concordia follow the sign for "Sous Prefecture" & "Hospital", it is at a corner - close to a few more restaurants & a supermarket and the Margohotel. You can ask on the street if you can't find it or call them: 0690884303.
