The evenings we spent at Le Village Restaurant will surely be the most memorable experience we will have of St Martin. The setting on the quai at the Marigot marina as the sun set was awesome. Meals were so good that after chancing upon this restaurant one evening we went back the next day for both lunch and dinner. French and Creole specialities such as crab and banana salad and crepes stuffed with chunks of lobster with a rich cream sauce. The waiters Laurent and Michel and bartender Stephan treated us like old friends-even embraced us when we returnned the next evening. We have never before felt so welcomed at a resturant or had such a wonderful dining experience. Vive "Le Village". GO..
