I, too, got a call from the Swiss American Bank wanting to buy my timeshare "to add to their portfolio". The more this woman talked, the more she sounded like
"Resort Timeshare Resale". Also in Florida; for $500.00 they would advertise your timeshare until it sold and help
with all the closing papers, etc. I Fell for this one! One year later, the only call I got was from, you guessed it, the Swiss American Bank.
Thank goodness I checked the internet and found all your postings. When the MLS called, I told them if the "bank" was so interested in my property,
THEY could pay for the appraisal. MSL said they would fax the bank and tell them I changed my mind. I reminded her, that I didn't change my mind about selling,
I just contacted the Florida comptrollers office and decided not to give them any money. She immediately hung up. My question, has anyone else who has been
contacted by Swiss American Bank also contracted Resort Timeshare Resale? I think the two are working together!
