At 2200 m elevation, the temperature was invigorating, the views and sunset amazing, the room cheap ($25.00), although basic. Not much English spoken, but we managed to communicate with the various friendly family members. A trout pond is on site (we caught our dinner) and there is good horseback riding to the Volcano or in trails through the forest. Only drawback is, if you don't have a 4x4, you probably won't make it back up the 1km dirt road to the main road.
