My 2 daughters and I just returned form Grand Playa Turquesa on Nov.22 (and we are going back this December 13). We had a great time there. The food was good, not great but all right. The food at the 24 hour bar was good (hot-dogs,hamburgers,fries...)
The resort was just beautiful all the pools were on different levels,some attached by waterfalls. which means a lot of stair climbing , so if your going there with babies i don't reccommend this resort.By the time you walk from the bottom pool to the lobby you've had you daily excercise!
The people there are incredibly nice. We were crying when we left and still do sometimes now cause we miss them so much, they were so good to us! we are going back this December 13,2003 and bringing lots of gifts for them.
The only problem there was the mosquitos. They were really bad there. They sprayed a few times but can't too much because it would kill the new plantations.
By the end of the week it started getting better, and lets hope its a lot better by the time we go back
Anyways thats all i have to say for now about the resort, I totally reccommend it.
I'll let you know more when we get back from our next vacation.
