All's I can say to all the bad reviews is 'what'? I got married there on November 27th and it was fantastic. Six of us in total stayed at the resort for the wedding and none of us had any complaints about food, people, garden, maintenance, etc. Check in was swift and painless. All of the staff were friendly, lovely and wonderful. The food was not gourmet nor amazing, but all of us always found something to eat and always enjoyed it. Even my husband who does not like cheese, garlic, anything with herbs or spices always found something for him. The beach was absolutely stunning, the pool enormous, the pool bar serving fantastic drinks, staff at the lobby bar funny and catering.
Our room was looking a tad rundown and in need of a little plastering around the light switches, but this did not bother me in the slightest. If anything at the resort, this was the only thing I noticed that I would change.
We are both very pleased with our choice of resort to get married in - things went so smoothly and it was absolutely stunning. I don't know very many brides that are swimming in the pool drinking a cervasa 1 1/2 hours before their wedding. No stress there!
We found Beaches fantastic and we would definitely return.
