I'm just back from my third visit to Breezes, and while the experience was great as usual, I must say that the resort itself seems a bit "tired" - lighting not working, many rooms with safes that can't be used for various reasons, and electricity / water supply problems were all annoyances to folks in our group.
As always, the beach was great, the food was good, the staff were friendly and helpfull, and the grounds were clean and well tended. Unlike the author of a recent review, we got smiles from the bartenders, waiters, and cooks, and extra attention from staff who remember us from previous visits.
This older resort really needs some major renovations, but I hope that the powers that be don't just buldoze this lovely place to build a couple of highrise hotels.
