Trafalgar Beach Villas 3/25/00
Reviewers Rating: Good I stayed here March 11-18, 2000. Nice large rooms and attentive staff. The villa units are two story with living room/kitchen down and bedroom up. Full bath on each floor. Well equipped kitchen. Nice balcony upstairs and downstairs with great view of the ocean (except units 1-4 which have a lousy view). We were initially in unit 2 with a view of the gravel road where the taxis park and got them to switch us to unit 20 on our 3rd day. There is a small grocery/liquor store on premises and the staff will also take you to the supermarket in a van. The poolside restaurant had good food. There is a beach on premises but it was not usable because the constant strong wind kept blowing sand at us. We went 1/2 mile down the road and used the beach at Royal Antiguan and since we had a car explored lots of other beaches. The fresh water pool was good. There isn't anything else to do on site except relax so a car or taxi will be needed to get to any other activities. You can see photos at http://www.frankneis.com/antigua
