Spending a week at the Royal Antiguan was the worse mistake I ever made. Service is poor, people that work at the hotel are rude. All inclusive guests are still required to sign 2 checks per meal! The food is awful, and if you eat at the 1 a la carte restaurant be prepared to spend a minimum of 3 hours there. Rooms were horrifying. We had an upgraded room, and when we walked in there was not refrigerator (as promised), a hole in the ceiling with wires hanging from it, no table lamps, no towels. A reading lamp fell off the wall and exploded, causes all the lights on the 7th floor to go out! A necklace was stolen from our room. Worst of all no one cares! Not the housekeepers, not the management, no one. Do not stay there!!!!!!
