Jolley Beach Hotel 5/17/00
Reviewers Rating: Excellent Jolley Beach hotel was great - all rooms were clean and spacious and had a balcony or if on the ground floor, a patio, and great sea views. For a budget, all-inclusive hotel, it surpasses all expectations! The food is varied and generally good, with a range from salads, to local food, to barbecue and hamburgers - something for everyone. The resort seemed very much a couples place, but there were a few children and singles, which just added to the atmosphere. The hotel lies on 1 mile of beautiful, white snady beach, and there is a pool for those who are less adventurous. The sea is beautiful -warm, blue and clear, and as a result of it being salty, no seaweed. Jolley Beach offers plenty of watersports, from water-skiing to hobie cats, with a really great 2-man motorised floating deck-chair. Jolley Harbour, 2 minutes walk away is the starting point for the Kokomo Cat, which is an excellent day out - drinking and snorkelling, with a fantastic crew, and the Jolley Beach isn't polluted by the cats coming onto the shore, as it is in other resorts along that coast. The entertainment that is laid on for the guests was generally very good - varied and fun to watch, with some audience participation on some nights, but this is easy to avoid if you don't want to take part. The staff are great - really friendly and approachable, and yet, if you want to be left alone, they are more than happy to do so. All in all, Jolley Beach All-inclusive is a resort from heaven. i would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants the opportunity to see the island, lie in the sun, meet people and to have lots of fun. Wonderful!
