Jolly Beach Resort 6/4/00

Once we had sorted out our room - we were moved from above the resturant / overlooking the bar and entertainments area to a much quieter part of the complex - our vacation really took off! It was great. Sun, sea, sand .. you just had to be there! The food was what you would expect at this sort of holiday destination but the serving staff were, generally, very helpful. Evening entertainment was mixed - from poor to superb. But the free bar helped the evenings along. I enjoyed the use of the Sunfish dinghy every day whilst my wife stayed on the beach topping-up her tan. We did no set tours, just got the local bus into St Johns and then travelled further afield in other buses ... no problem. A great vacation - two weeks over Easter. And we might one day go back to the island.
