We just went there and it was beautiful. Our room had been redone lately, everything was very clean and we checked. The grounds were paradise, the ocean was georgous. If you just want to stay at the hotel there is everything there for you no need to rent a car. They offer a trip to town, but there is not much organisation there in town it is messy, but we were there 14 years ago and there wasn't much of a town then. So they are working on it. The so called vendor carts need to come down, and the island has to put a control on the goats, they tear apart the trash and no one seems to care. Other than that we had a great time and the islanders at our hotel were super friendly we partied the night away with them. Every day the sun was out and we weren't in snowey Boston, it's all what you make it. Yes in 14 years things have changed, but don't forget the island has been hit by hurracains lately, I rate the r.a. a very pretty place.
