This resort is cool! My wife and I honeymooned there in early May of 2000. We had a BLAST! Our room was well kept and clean, except for these very tiny ants in the bathroom area that I didn't bother complaining about. There are also these tiny lizards running all over the place, but they're just curious little things. The entertainment was terrific! There's always music, festivals, and dancing going on at night and you won't have any problem getting the drink of your choice. The food is awesome! We ate at all 4 of the main restaurants (All right on the oceanfront, aside from Kimonos) and the grill was open all the time except for a short period really early in the morning. One thing to remember: you have to make your dinner reservations early on the day you want to go to a specific restaurant. You had to sign up in the lobby area. The staff were very friendly and there were also some other people around to organize some of the outside events. I highly recomm! end the Jolly Roger excursion and the Sunset Catamaran cruise. These two events are extra, but well worth it - go for it! They also have bus trips that go into town each day for $5. Swimming, partying, scuba diving, tennis, spa services...I can go on forever. I can't say enought about it...I'd do it all over again and not even think twice about it. Watch out for those guys who want to tote your luggage to and from the vans at the airport, hehe.(Review originally submitted on April 15, 2001)
