This resort is on a wonderful beach with a great view of Montserrat in the distance (best seen in the mornings). We were here for one week and had a fabulous time- very relaxing. The rooms are clean and well kept and our balcony faced the ocean so we had a view of wonderful sunsets every night while sipping a cocktail or two. The staff are very friendly and generally helpful. The meals were good- a wide selection of varying items- the breakfasts are the best. Watch out for the charges to call from your room- as with most hotels they are outrageous. Go for beach towels in the morning if you want to change them or get some when you first arrive- they generally don't have any later on in the day. The ocean was beautiful and the beach was great, secluded and usually not busy in the least. The vendors are persistent and can be expensive- bargain with them if you buy anything. All in all a great place to go if you are looking for a relaxing and secluded resort.(Review originally submitted on April 17, 2001)
