Excellent
We travelled to Antigua 3/4-3/11 2002. This is a well spread out, rather quaint resort that is beautifully landscaped. Most of the rooms do not have much of a view but are more secluded than a large high rise resort. The pools are small and the bar pool is much too small and cramped. There is only one pool that is close to the beach.
Bar service was excellent along with restaurant service. The food was good, especially in the southwestern restaurant. There is also a Japanese restaurant that most people complained about. Italian restaurant was OK.
Watersports galore!!!!!!!
The only complaint we had was the evening entertainment. We are in our mid forties which was probably 20 years too young for what was provided. However, the Piano Bar after hours with the most delightful group of Brits we met throughout the week was enough to make up for the lackluster entertainment.
We met a couple who have been to most of Sandals resorts and they liked this resort the least of all Sandals for various reasons. This was our first visit to Sandals and we were very happy compared to what we're used to.
We'd be happy to answer any questions by e-mail.
