Good
This is my first tiem staying in the carribean so I cant really compare this hotel to others but i generally liked it.Service:Was generally good. We were greeted by drinks and a nice welcome when we first arrived at the hotel and it didn't take long to fix a noisy air conditioner in my room.
Food:The food was just ok. There is not much of a selection some nights when Ande's is closed and you dont have a reservation to Barrington's. If you're a picky eater liek me you might have a little trouble but generally you can find something you like. Breakfasts were great!
Pool:The pool was pretty nice but its hard to stay at the pool when there's such a nice beach.
Beach:BEAUTIFUL!!! The water is an amazing color and the sand is nice and soft. The water is always a good temporature and there's many fun activities such as volleyball or kayaking. The beach is definately the best part of The Royal Antiguan.
Rooms:Not great. I had an airconditioner that made a terrible noise when ever u turned it on. And there were alot of moths and flies in the rooms.
My biggest complaint would have to be the flies. They were EVERYWHERE. If you leave the table during breakfast you'll have 12 flies sitting on your piece of toast by the time you get back. But we went during fly season so you cant blame them. You shoudl try to go during butterfly season i hear its beautifull. Ciao
