Just returned from 'The Beach Club' part of St James Club. Beautiful location on the beach which is very clean with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The drinks cart comes round several times a day so you don't have to move too far to enjoy a cocktail. Our room was lovely. Upstairs in a two story block and very spacious. Huge bed, tv, fridge and air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. All rooms face the sea so the views are beautiful. The food was very good but gets a bit repetative. Mainly buffet with lovely salads and fresh fruit at lunch and dinner. The main courses included a different pasta dish each day and a different type of fish each day. Some nights you had waiter service which was nice and the food was always different. You could always find something good to eat. Try Piccolo Mondo ($35 charge) for a change. Excellent food and a lovely romantic atmosphere. The resort is very well looked after and there are watersports and activities on Mamora Bay. The staff are fantastic here and it's well worth the visit. Virgin Holidays was excellent especially the 'check in and chill out' facility available at this hotel.
