Hotel Reviews:
Anguilla
Harbour Villas 5/2/00
Reviewers Rating: Great If you're not looking for the ultra-tony super-expensive vacation, there really is an affordable side to Anguilla(but don't tellanyone else). If you're looking to see the island, meet the people and get to know the real Anguilla stay in the East not the West. Island Harbour is a great little fishing village with no pretense. It does have a bakery, bar, restaurants, grocery stores, fish markets all within an easy walk. Nearby are Shoal Bay, as good as you've heard, and the Palm Grove, a do not miss. In the middle is Harbour Villas. Simple, clean, great view, quiet, affordable(about $100 off-season). Phyllis Richardson the on-site manager is very helpful in arranging a rental car, suggesting restaurant, getting fresh fish or lining up a boat trip. The units are roomy, breezy and all have kitchens. I have stayed here several times and will be returning soon.
