Cap Juluca 12/19/00
Reviewers Rating: Excellent While expensive, Cap Juluca is worth every penny - from the welcoming rum punch at arrival to the attentive beach staff who bring cooling towels and afternoon sorbet. Ok, so the grounds are no question man-made (you drive across a marsh to get there), but this is made up for by the mile-long beach and amazing Mediterranean inspired architecture. Only 4 or so villas per building (10 buildings in the complex) makes for a suprisingly private experience. They have two good restaurants on site, and breakfast is served to your room with the paper. Enjoy the wonderful bathrooms with their own private tanning deck.
