The facilities are much more attractive than we expected, with lots of bright Caribbean colors, and especially the rooms. They come with great views, and are prettily furnished with hardwood furniture and very comfortable king beds. But what makes the Arawak is the Innkeeper Maria. She is completely committed to her guests, and a great personality. Nothing is too much trouble - she cooks your breakfast, runs you around, advises on your trips and just makes you laugh. This is the nicest Caribbean experience we have ever had. Also, the meals are good and wholesome and very reasonable priced by Anguilla standards. You can make a meal for two out of an Arawak pizza, or go for something fancier like Lobster which is around $20.
