La Sirena on Meads Bay, is a wonderful, warm and friendly place to stay. The rooms are great, we had a large room with a magnificent view of Meads Bay from our balcony and St Martin from the other side of the room. The owners and their staff made our stay special. This is a small family owned hotel with a European feel, we met guests from England, Switzerland, Germany and France as well as the US. The grounds are lush with bougainvillea, palm trees and other tropical plants. There are two swimming pools and a very short walk (1-2 minutes) to the beach, where they have set up lounge chairs and umbrella's. Meads Bay is a beautiful 1 mile long crescent shaped white sand beach with La Sirena at one end and the Malliouhana at the other.
Accomadations include 20 rooms in the main building, 6 seperate villas 2-3 bedrooms, all with private locations and 4 suites which include a kitchenette.
The food at La Sirena was excellent and the prices were some of the best on the Island. The real pleasure in a stay at La Sirena is the genuinely warm and friendly staff, they made us feel right at home. The staff was very helpfull with anything we needed, arranging rental cars, information about sites and events around the island, restaurant recomendations ect. Thanks to Rolf and Viviane, the owners of La Sirena, our trip to Anguilla was perfect.
