Aruba grand hotel and resort 04/24/01

I had the occasion to stay at the Aruba grand at the end of March, and I loved it! It is moderate in price. The service is excellent.The rooms are always clean on time. The beach and the view from the rooms are fantastic. The one restaurant has a gourmet chef (everything we ordered was delicious and well presented ). Breakfast was around $25.00 u.s for 2 and dinner between $55. to $65. without drink for 2 peoples; you cant beat that over there! The service is very friendly. There is a Mc Donald and a Wendy at a walking distance of the hotel:about 3 blocs. The view from the outdoor restaurant is like in a dream. It is located between 2 more expensives hotel:the Windham and the Radisson. You can always walk there through the sildewalk in the back of the hotel.The beach is well maintained and close by. The service of free towels and chairs is excellent also. The only minus is the bathroom shower do not have a telephone shower, the balcony is very small and there is no Jacuzy that I saw.
