Aruba Hotel, Resort & Villa Reviews
Wyndham 05/14/2003
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
Honeymoon 4/28 to 5/12
We recently returned from our two week honeymoon, from the Wyndham in Aruba. When we got there we were upgraded to a deluxe room, pool side, ocean view at no additional cost. The staff at the Wyndham was excellent, our room was great. The maids there worked around our schedule and we didn't have any people issues the entire two weeks. The pool area was nice, they furnished towels, served fruit a couple times a day and gave out cold wet towels. There were Eguana's at the pool looking for fruit snacks, don't worry they are harmless. They also have about 12 beautiful parrots near the pool, some will even talk to you. The food in Aruba is excellent and so is the water. A couple of days were very windy but most of the time there was always a nice breeze which I found very refreshing, because without the breeze the sun can be too much at times. Bring lots of 25 to 30 sunscreen to start out with, even if you have a good base tan. We switched to 15 on the second week. They have a meet the managers party at 6:15pm, on Tuesday nights. They supply beer, wine, sodas, snacks, and give away prizes, with the top prize being 7 free nights at the Wyndham. All honeymooners, birthdays and anniversary folks receive gifts. There is lots to do in Aruba and it seemed very safe. I never heard of any problems during our entire stay. We had a very romantic and fun time and when we go back we will stay at the Wyndham again. Thanks, to all the staff who helped make our honeymoon so great!!!!!!! Send me an E-mail if you would like to know more. Ayo!!!!!!
