La Cabana All Suite Beach Resort and Casino

My roommates and I just came home from Aruba after staying at La Cabana for 5 nights. The hotel was extremely clean and everyone was friendly from the moment we arrived. The resort's pools and beach area is incredible. We could have stayed at the resort the entire trip. There are restaurants, bars, shopping, and convenience stores at the resort. On our 3rd night on the island, our cab driver suggested that we travel up to the Palm Beach area. It was AMAZING. We had dinner at "Texas de Brazil" and went over to the Hyatt afterwards for a little gambling and cocktails. The Hyatt is home to two outside tiki bars where we received some of the best service on the island. If you arrive early enough you can sing karaoke at the lower bar.
Overall La Cabana was great. We definitely plan to make a return trip to Aruba. We are going to look into staying at the Hyatt next time. The area around Palm Beach is younger and more "happening" than the area around Eagle Beach. However, La Cabana was nice to come home to! If you have children, La Cabana is the way to go. There are planned activities each day for adults and children. As you can tell... I'm ready to go back already!
