Sandridge Hotel 8/9/00

The entrance of the hotel is not fancy but don't let it to put you off. The rooms are very large and confortable. We stayed in a suite downstairs straight to the garden. The staff were very friendly although the service was slow...and yes is it's normal in the Caribbean...we had a blocked toilet witch my husband had to repair it himself in the end, the air-conditioner in noisy but we don't expect too much of a 3 star hotel. For us the hotel was great value for money, the swimming pool was cleaned every morning and our room was moped everyday. The food was quite good and the cocktails was delicious. The children were very happy and they soon made some friends. We have had a lovely time in Barbados and we may come back to Sandridge Hotel again, but this time in December when it is not so hot.
