We loved Barbados, but the wedding planning staff at Sam Lord's Castle was sub-standard. After booking our wedding and paying the wedding fee all communication stopped. When we arrived at Sam Lord's Castle we had to enlist the aid of a resort manager to make sure we were even having a wedding. While the wedding was lovely, it is over 2 months and we have no wedding license. We are truly disappointed with Sam Lord's Castle, and recommend that other couples who want to wed in Barbados find a more reliable resort.
