Dover Beach Hotel 02/02/01

This was our 1st trip to Barbados. Our hotel was very nice..small..only 39 rooms but very nicely located-ocean front on Dover Beach in St Lawrence Gap. Good sandy beach to the side of the property. The ocean had fair sized waves but not much undertow. Our room was well located, overlooking the ocean, was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette (with the high restaurant costs a necessity!!) There was a bar and restaurant on the property. The hotel offered a package that included some meals, a car for 2 days and other extras It turned out to be a good value. We enjoyed it and would stay there again
