The resort is in a wonderful area - within walking distance to several shops and restaurants, and guests have access to all the amenities of the Almond Beach Club next-door. However, the rooms are in dire need of refurbishing (e.g. the sofa was ripped in 3 places; the bathroom mirror was cracked; no remote for the TV, etc.) Service was "so-so". The resort does have daily maid service, but they did not always leave enough towels. The air conditioning stopped working mid-week, and although we reported it to the front-desk, nothing happened. Basically, it is an old resort that needs updating.
