Mango Bay Beach Resort 07/05/01

My boyfriend and I stayed at Mango Bay beach Resort on our first vacation to Barbados,in November, 2000. When we got there,we had to wait about two hours for our room. While we waited, we went to have lunch at the hotel's restaurant. The food was horrible, no taste and no effort put into cooking it. Everything was watered down even the drinks. Because dining was outside, insects always dined with you too; Sort of a third guess. There was no ironing board and iron in the room, the remote never worked for the TV, and our room faced the bar outside, so there were no peacful nights. However the town itself, holetown was nice. We ate out every night, because the food at the hotel's restaurant was aweful, but the club "Baku's" was awesome. I will re-visit Barbados, but I will never stay at Mango Bay again.
