The beach was great, one of the nicest I saw during my time in Barbados.I was staying in a standard hotel room. I would recommend anyone going to stay in Silver Sands to upgrade as in the standard room there is not even a fridge. Given the distance away from restaurants and shops basic cooking facilities are neccessary as you will soon tire of the food on offer at the resort. Also, I found the restauraunt/bar service to be very slow and on occasion bordering on rudeness.
