My wife and I have just spent 7 night at the Barbados Beach Club on the Maxwell Coast Road, between Oistins and Bridgetown, and would like to let others travelling to this resort what a wonderful time we had.The Rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds and great views of either the Pool, the gardens or the Ocean (try to get an ocean view if possible).
There were plenty of sun-beds on the beach and around the pool for the guests to use the pool was clean and warm (although it wasn’t as big as it looks on the photos).
The Beach was Fantastic, and although not huge was one of the cleanest and best we saw on the Island, with some shade from available should the sun get too hot.
The food although not al la carte in appearance was great with plenty of options and well cooked and very tasty (they even had a Roast dinner on the Sunday.
As for the staff what can I say, they were all very friendly (once you approached them) and very helpful.
The hotel is located in an urban area with only a few shops/bars within walking distance (if you want bars/gift shops try a hotel in St Lawrence Gap), but having said that there is a shop in the hotel which sells gifts, chocolate, cigarettes, drink, sun-cream etc, so it not a problem.
The evening entertainment was good on certain nights (with singers/limbo dancers etc) but mostly it was just a DJ playing varied tracks.
In case you were wondering, we decided on day 2 of our holiday that we will be going back again next year to Barbados, and will go back to the same hotel.
