Guavaberry Spring Bay 08/19/02

We've returned from our wonderful trip to Virgin Gorda, BVI and the Guavaberry Spring Bay Villas! We can't say enough great things about this place and the owner, Tina which are both gems! Making a reservation and arrangements online were a breeze. Tina had someone pick us up at the ferry to whisk us to Guavaberry. The individual villas are spread out on a large beautiful property with frangipani, hibiscus, bouganvillia, volcanic boulders and even some cactus. We had a one bedroom/bath with a fully equipped kitchen. There was a patio with chairs and table with a spectacular view of the ocean and surrounding islands. The property operates a fully stocked commissary with food and drinks you can purchase for reasonable prices. If you don't want to cook, Tina has great suggestions for restaurants.The villas are quiet and private and just a short walk to two of Virgin Gorda's beautiful beaches, The Baths and Spring Bay. Tina, the owner of Guavaberry made our stay so enjoyable and easy. She arranged our rental car, answered our questions about the island, made restaurant and taxi reservations, all with a smile. We came back so relaxed that we would highly recommend Guavaberry and will come back again!
