Cooper Island Beach Club 05/14/2007

We stayed at CIBC for a week in late April. Cooper Island is a tiny island with no roads and nothing else there except for the CIBC and a few scattered houses. The rooms were very well laid out and clean and tidy. They were not luxurious accommodations but very funtional. There is a kitchen area if you want to cook in and a private balcony which is a nice place to sit back and relax and watch the goings on in the harbour. The meals there were all fantastic. We did not have one bad meal the entire week. We did some grocery shopping on Tortola before we came and had provisions for breakfast, two lunches, two dinners and snacks. All other meals were at the restaurant and all were great. The beach is nice, very close to your doorstep, and has comfortable chairs. The swimming is fine there and if you venture down to the area known as Cistern Point you can find some absolutely excellent snorkeling. The staff at Cooper Island is a real treat - friendly, personable and very helpful and accomadating. All in all a great place to unwind and relax.
