My husband and I traveled to Cancún twice in 1999, the first visit was an all inclusive trip for 8 days to the royal solaris we stayed from dec.27th to jan. 4th, what an incredible vacation, perfect time of year to visit Cancún. the hotel was beautiful, we had an ocean front room and the scenery from the balcony was breathtaking! I am 35, my hubby 40, It was great for all ages, we will come back here with our 7 yr old.The staff was the friendliest we ever found on any vacation, the food was even better, the pools and hottubs were great too. There was not one thing to complain about other than it ended too soon. second trip we tried somewhere else, gran caribe real, never again would we go there. now that we have the royal solaris thats tops on our list. a few people from my work have stayed at the royal solaris, again more fans of that resort. I can't wait to visit again, Cancún itself is great to visit, tulum and xel-ha are a great day tour as well. Have a great time, you'll love it.
