My husband and I went with 2 other couples the week before Thanksgiving 11/99. Our room was old and run down with 2 double beds. The phone woke us up the next morning at 8:00 with someone telling us that the hotel would like to welcome us by giving us a free breakfast. We got dressed and went downstairs to one of the biggest time share schemes I have ever seen. We didn't get out til 11:30 and the time share sales people treated us like dogs. The lobby bar was closed, swim up pool bar was closed, the place is run down. The pool area was boring and you can't get sun after 2:00 because the building is so tall it creates shade on the pool area. Food and drinks expensive. We go to Cancún every year. Stay at the Cancún Palace. It is awesome!!!
