The hotel and grounds are very nice. The ocean water is crystal blue. The staff was very curteous and polite. The location is fine(about 20 walk to the nearest shopping center, or 5 peso bus ride-50cents). We stayed for 6 days on an all-inclusive plan. The food was mediocre at best. There's always something going on (water polo, music shows, etc.), so if you want a quiet getaway, this is NOT it. I did catch a bit of montezuma's revenge also, so be careful. I highly recommend visiting Chitchen-Itza (mayan ruins-about a 3 hour drive from cancun) and Isla Mujeres. We took a boat to Isla Mujeres ($100 for two people included all food, drinks, and snorkel gear), and it is beautiful. Overall, very nice experience for the price.
