We stayed at this resort last summer and had a reasonably good time. We went with another family and altogether there were 4 adults and 5 children between the ages of 9 and 14. The pool was excellent and the setting was beautiful. On the downside we found the service awful in the restaurents. For the buffet you had to queue and as the food was cooked in front of you, sometimes it took an hour to get it. If we wanted a snack by the pool we had to order before we felt hungry as this also took over an hour to come. Certain things which we expected to be included on AI plan were not, like ice creams for the kids. Entertainment was quite good in the evening with 3 shows a week, apart from that we had to make do with socialising amongst ourselves. The dolphin trip is worth going on and also the jungle safari where you drive your own speed boat in convey with the rest of the party. Snorkelling was also good on this trip. Cancun has the best bus service anywhere in the world. A bus comes every two minutes and is very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel only if you are prepared to wait long periods at meal times.
