My wife and I just returned after having stayed at Yalmakan Feb. 7-10. The ala carte restaurant was closed. You could get as many reasons for this as people you asked. This left the buffet restaurant for all 3 meals or the pool side venue for snacks during the day time. The buffet resataurant was good in variety and presentation. The snack area had the same food items everyday. A staff member was available to cook burgers. We stayed on the all inclusive plan. The old addage of "you get what you pay for" rings true after this trip. Although the staff tries hard, the property is a little dated and in need of repairs. Our bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on. It didn't help my outlook having arrived with a back problem, either. The drinks were abundant from either of two bars. However, only one bar was open at a time. I think had I gone here prior to having stayed at a Grand Lido last year my outlook would be a little more positive toward this resort. It was a very affordable get-a-way. On this note I would probably opt to pay more next time to hopefully get more especially for a three or four night trip with my spouse (minus kids).
